As the Sample Operations Manager, I deal with all things sample related (the people who are taking our surveys). The sample begins when we create feasibility and a budget for a project. Then, I work with vendors to prep for a study and make sure we are targeting the correct audience. Finally, once a study is live, I monitor the survey to make sure we hit all quotas and that we don’t run into any issues while fielding.
What is your favorite podcast and/or book?
I AM MORE OF A READER VS PODCAST/AUDIO BOOK LISTENER. MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE BOOK WOULD HAVE TO BE “THE GLASS CASTLE” BY JEANETTE WALLS.
What song or artist have you most recently listen to?
MOST LIKELY A TAYLOR SWIFT SONG! (I AM A PROUD TAYLOR SWIFT FAN 😊)
If you could be anywhere other than right here, where would you be?
LAYING ON A BEACH WITH A DELICIOUS COCKTAIL IN HAND.
When not working, what are you happiest doing?
I LOVE BEING OUTDOORS AND GOING ON SOME SORT OF ADVENTURE WITH MY HUSBAND AND DAUGHTER.
What is something you want to fix that people in market research deal with?
FROM A SAMPLE PERSPECTIVE, I WOULD LOVE TO FIND A WAY TO WEED OUT ALL CHEATERS WHO TRY TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR SURVEY. LUCKILY, WE HAVE MANY AUTOMATED CHEATER CHECKS AND OUR TEAM THOROUGHLY COMBS THROUGH THE DATA TO REMOVE THEM…BUT IT WOULD BE NICE ONE DAY TO NEVER WORRY ABOUT A CHEATER AGAIN!

What do you think will be the biggest innovation in market research in the next year?
DUE TO THE CURRENT CLIMATE, I THINK WE ARE GOING TO CONTINUE SEEING MORE INNOVATIVE AND INTERESTING WAYS TO CONDUCT QUAL RESEARCH VIA ONLINE TOOLS (NOT IN PERSON JUST YET).
