The Alzheimer’s Association leads the way to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
The Alzheimer’s Association enlisted Socratic to help build their strategy on messaging and outreach to their key segments of donors, caregivers, medical professionals, and volunteer network.
The combination of this mixed methods approach revealed a general lack of awareness and understanding about Alzheimer’s disease. In particular, the insights helped the Alzheimer’s Association develop its understanding of the stigma that caregivers, medical professionals, and its volunteers encounter with Alzheimer’s disease.
As a result, Socratic and the Alzheimer’s Association identified several messaging & growth opportunities around education, partnerships, and training.
Over 14 million people live with dementia and some form of Alzheimer’s. Over 16 million caregivers give their time & resources to help patients and families as they fight this disease.
